Our family recently (as in today and yesterday) reached two significant milestones.
First, yesterday was January 3. This marks 1 year since Ryan started working at the regional center. (We've also lived consistently in Lincoln for longer than any other place since we've been married and we've lived in our apartment longer than any other place, though these milestones were met a few months ago.) So yay to Ryan having a real job for a whole year.
Second, today Vidalia took her first steps. I don't know if she realized it, I tricked her a little, but she took two very tiny baby steps all by herself and then got hold of my fingers and got herself into my lap. We'll have to see if she'll decide to be a walker anytime soon or if that is still a ways off. Good job baby! Walking is a hard thing to do!!!
