18 months

Vidalia is now 18 months.  She's a charming, darling girl and we're so glad she's a part of our life.  I'm amazed with how she handles life.  She's cheerful and happy and even-tempered and quite good at solving problems.  She makes new friends everywhere we go.

Her hair is coming in thicker and I think it might actually start growing some length to it soon.

Her stats for her last apointment were:

Height: 32 inches (57th percentile)
Weight: 23 lbs 5 oz (33rd percentile)

She's a little performer.  When she has an audience (and she realizes she has an audience) she really performs.  She loves baby in the middle (where everyone copies what the baby is doing) and playing her violin for people (she's getting much better at holding it, which is the only thing we have worked on in the last 6 months).

She says some words (and lots of people's names).  I'm going to make no attempt to list them.

We love this little girl so much and we're so glad she's ours!

Update

We spent the last two weeks (June 24 - July 27) on a trip with the Mikhail family; destination Toronto.  I say destination Toronto because it was a road trip.  My parents have an RV, so we all went in one vehicle...all being as follows: My parents (Nader & Kathy), Bekah, Rachael, Emma, James, Crystal, Jer, Gido, Ryan, Me, and Vidalia.  We were happy to have missed the first half of the ride there and the second half of the ride back.

We had tons of fun.  We were considering not going because of finances, but due to the generosity of others, it may have actually cost us less to go on this trip than to stay home.  Thanks everyone!

We did tons of sight seeing and we lost our camera (and didn't get it back).  I stole pictures from two of my sisters, so we'll see if I can fill in most of the gaps with their pictures.

Aside from that, life is pretty good.  We love our apartment and we have a great ward.  The next thing we're looking forward to is our time in Utah in August for my brother's wedding.
