11:57 PM

That's what time the computer tells me it is right now and do you know where I am?  School.
And do you know what day it is?  Friday
Why in the world would I do that?  Homework
Who gives you homework?  Awful mean professors who believe you should learn something in school!

Okay, they are not awful or mean, but they are professors.  I also used to believe that we should learn something in school, but now I think BYU should just give me a diploma.

Why would I feel that way?  Because it's the fourth week of school and not the first time (or second time) I've been at school at this time.
Do you know who is really nice about it all?  Ryan.  He comes to school with me.  I wish he could do my homework.  He probably would, he's just THAT nice!!!
Do you know who probably gets to come back with me tomorrow night?  Ryan

So....overall, I'm lucky because my husband is nice and I'm free to hate homework.

Baby and I (ok, mostly I) don't like sugary drinks!

Bad News:  I did my glucose screening this morning.
Good News:  The glucose screening is over.
Bad News:  I threw up the nasty glucose drink all over the waiting room...
Good News:  After they had drawn my blood and everything was done.
Bad News:  I got it all over all of my clothes I was wearing.  (Quite literally everything, including
                   my shoes.)
Good News:  Since it was at the doctor's office, I didn't have to clean it up.
Bad News:  Doctors require glucose testing for every child you have.
Good News:  I like children more than I hate throwing up and nasty glucose drinks.

26 Weeks

Pretty much the only picture we have, which I think is fine with me.

My Newest Job

Today I got a job.  I work 2 to 5 hours a week as a Lab TA.  I figured I could handle that just fine.  That is all.

Melissa's half birthday!

I'm not sure how many of our readers have ever celebrated a half birthday, but we think they are fun!

This is what I did for Melissa:
I wrote her a card about things that I love about her. Then I cut it in half. It read:

I then made her a christmas box our of paper (origami). Perhaps I can just call it a gift box. On the top I wrote:

and on the bottom I wrote:

I then placed a necklace I had purchased in Toronto in the box. It has the Star of David as a central feature. I knew she didn't have any jewelry with the Star of David on it when I saw it and thought it was very pretty and thought she would like it very much. I like the way the color of the necklace contrasts against Melissa's dark skin (by-the-way I'm so thrilled I got to marry someone darker than me!)

I presented the box to her and sang:
"Hap Birth To, Hap Birth To, Hap Birth De Meli, Hap Birth To"
It was great fun says we!

Later that night we were joined for a game of Monopoly by our friends Jeff, Alia, and friend David. It was a very pleasant evening.

Yay!

I came home from school today and noticed that our bathtub was fixed.  I was surprised and quite happy about it.  And then later tonight I realized our stool was not where or how I had left it and what an even better surprise...our swamp cooler is fixed and cools again!  Needless to say, my life just got more comfortable and more pleasant!

Beginning of one thing and end of another...

So, today Ryan had his exit interview with his professor.  This is something fabulous because now...Ryan has OFFICIALLY FINISHED his bachelor's degree!!!!  Way to go!  You're fabulous and smart and everything else a bachelor's degree means.  He still has plenty to do with his upcoming certification exam in October.  We also talked to a professor of mine and decided that I will be taking the FE Exam in October as well.  I guess October will be just a testy month for us.  ;)  So, school is coming to an end, which is a funny thing to say since this is the first week of the semester, but it's the first week of my last semester and Ryan's last week ever!  We're almost done being formally educated and hopefully we'll decide to never become more formally educated, well, at least not for a while.  :)

P.S.  We had an ultrasound today, it's a girl!!!

11:11

That's the time that Ryan's plane arrived at the Salt Lake Airport.  I know, that's kind of a pointless thing to blog, but it's a cool time to FINALLY arrive where you should be.  Go Ryan!  (Since he was the one who was really controlling the time his plane would arrive.)

TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today Ryan comes back to Utah!  Somebody (probably me) is really excited about that.
